If you’re a bit insane, I would recommend trying the hardcore mode where it’s over when you die, the game gets a nice lonely feel then. One thing I have to absolutely commend is the general atmosphere of the game. Early game is a bit rough, but hey, at least it fits the lore! The game constantly shows you that it could do more if it was simply more complete, but you’ll never really care since it’s doing a great job already. Dev states that it’s late alpha, but the balance and atmosphere are great already. The game is a bit grindy, but I can see that there are already improvements for that on the development branch. I love how the world changes, grass appears, climb-able vines, new collectable flowers or insects. At times it feels like a Cookie Clicker, as you build oxygen generator T1, increase the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere which unlocks oxygen generator T2, which produces more oxygen, and so on. Yes I would recommend this game with a big thumbs up. The amount of things to do and see is fantastic and it all keeps you wanting more, even the way the game changes with advancement of environment is superb, just seeing a blue sky for the first time is hope and comfort.
